Good for large projects

I used Countfire for a recent commercial project that had over 50 electrical drawings. The Automated Takeoff feature saved a lot of time, especially with the PDF Symbol Counting. It recognized most standard symbols pretty well, though I did have to manually adjust a few unique ones. Uploading multiple PDFs worked smoothly, and the cloud storage was handy for team access. Delivery isn't really applicable here since it's software, but access was immediate after signup. I had a quick question about the Excel Export Integration, and support responded within a few hours. Overall, it definitely sped up the estimating process for that large job.

Helpful, minor learning curve

Countfire has improved our takeoff speed, particularly with the Multi-PDF Counting. The symbol recognition is quite accurate for common items, which is a big plus. We opted for the annual subscription for the savings, and that process was simple. The Project Reporting feature gives decent overviews. My only minor gripe is that while the initial setup is quick, fully customizing the Electrical Symbols Library to match all our specific client standards took a little more effort than I expected. But once it's set, it works well. Good value for what it does.
